In the premises of St John’s, a Special Assembly was organized by the students of grade X A on 12 April 2024 for the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr B.R
Ambedkar one of the most respected individuals of independent India, who fought to eradicate inequality among the citizens of the country based on caste and religion, headed the committee drafting the Constitution of India from the Constituent Assembly debates, and served as Law and Justice minister in the first cabinet of Jawaharlal Nehru. The Assembly commenced with a Lord's Prayer, followed by a Thought of the Day and a pledge. Students were updated on current headlines and briefed about the Preamble of the Constitution. The highlight of the assembly was a skit depicting key aspects of our constitution, accompanied by an engaging dance performance that brought the skit to life.
