St. John's School, Greater Noida West, the kindergarten department celebrated a fun-filled and informative Healthy Week from Monday,24th July 2023 to Friday, 28th July 2023. The primary focus of the week was to promote healthy eating habits among the young children and create awareness about the importance of good health and hygiene.
Healthy Food Week:
Throughout the week, the children participated in the "Healthy Food Week" where each day, they brought different healthy foods as per the menu shared by the school. The aim was to encourage the consumption of nutritious foods that are beneficial for their growth and development. This activity also helped in teaching the importance of eating a balanced diet and the nutritional value of different foods.
Doctor's Day Celebration:
On Friday,28th July 2023, the school celebrated Doctor's Day with great enthusiasm. The event was made even more special with the presence of esteemed guests from Yatharth Hospital; the medical team consisting of Mr. Kiran (the Head of the High n Intense Care Nursing Department) along with Ms. Rita (High and intence care nurse) and Mr. Varun Sharma .
Hand Wash Campaign:
As part of Doctor's Day celebration, the medical experts conducted a” Hand Wash Campaign” with the kindergarten students. Proper handwashing techniques were demonstrated and the children actively participated in this activity. This interactive session not only made the kids aware of the significance of hand hygiene but also made learning fun and engaging.
White colour day:
On this special day, all the kindergarten students were dressed in pristine white-colored clothes, symbolizing purity and good health. Several activities were organized to keep the little ones excited and involved.
KG children enthusiastically participated in a creative session where they made their very own first aid boxes. This activity taught them about the essentials of a first aid kit and how it can be useful during minor injuries or accidents.
Meanwhile, the Nursery children had a
making doctors' bags. This activity not only sparked their imagination but also helped in fostering their interest in the medical profession.

The entire week of Healthy Week celebrations at St. John's School provided an excellent opportunity for the young minds to understand the importance of healthy eating and personal hygiene. It also instilled in them an appreciation for medical professionals and their critical role in keeping society healthy and safe. The engaging and informative activities ensured that the children had a memorable and enlightening experience during this special week.
