Food is one of the basic necessities of life and cooking food is an art, it’s not everybody’s cup of tea. But the fireless cooking is a fun. This encourages children’s creativity, thinking and problem-solving skills. With these children improve their knowledge of basic skills like measuring, counting and following the instructions.
To keep all these things in mind, St John’s School conducted “Cooking Without Fire Activity” on 26th April 2023, where Class I and II students participated enthusiastically. The students prepared healthy dishes like ‘fruit chaat’ and ‘vegetable sandwich’. They served the dishes in an artistic and aesthetic way which was most appealing.
The activity was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame, the necessity and advantages of healthy eating and to encourage students to stay away from the junk food.
