Jawaharlal Nehru* St. John's School celebrated Children's Day as a day marking childhood- Children’s day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment. The Children’s Day celebration began with a special assembly on 14th November, dedicated to the students by their teachers. An introduction about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru followed by a power packed performance by the teachers, which included the singing and dancing and skit. There was excitement in the air and the little ones left the school with a bag full of stories about their special day at school. The celebrations came to an end with the distribution of chocolate in the classes as a small token of love and affection by the school.
