"There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million." - Walt Streightiff Every year November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas to pay tribute to our former Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Lal Nehru, for his contribution to building the nation. It’s a day celebrating the spirit of childhood. To make it a memorable day for our little ones, ST. JOHN’S SCHOOL Kindergarten wing celebrated Children’s Day and “Green Color Day“ together on 14th November’2022, Monday. The day was focused on children and their enjoyment. The celebration began with Morning Prayer followed by a special assembly conducted by the teachers. Little champs were delightfully dressed up in Green attire. They were taught the identification and recognition of green fruits, vegetables, leaves and trees. To provide sensory experience to our kids for exploring this colour, ‘Mask Making Activity” was also conducted. Children brought green snacks and eatables in their tiffin’s. Further, the day was made more special for our little ones by organizing variety of fun filled activities like Magic Show, movie, dance, class party etc. Children enjoyed, were delighted and overwhelmed throughout the celebration. All the events of the day brought beautiful smiles on their face.
